In 1921, Guido Bitossi founded the Guido Bitossi artistic majolica factory in Montelupo Fiorentino: a name destined to make history due to its deep connection with the classic style of tradition while knowing exactly how to adapt it to a contemporary context. Elegance and style embrace in the Vase designed and built in 1960 and presented today in the exclusive Emporio Treccani showcase in its 2006 reissue edition. The cornflower blue Greek motif on a matte black background, and the black and white bands which embellish this incredibly refined product, owe their paternity to Aldo Londi, who from the 1950s led the Bitossi Ceramics as artistic director. Hand turned in red clay with wax decoration, this vase is available in a limited edition of one hundred and ninety-nine exemplars.
