On 2 October 1921, an agreement between the Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antiquarian Giacomo Cappellin saw the founding of Vetri Soffiati Cappellin Venini & C. This led almost immediately to the appointment of the famous Venetian painter Simone Zecchin as artistic director. In this furnace of cultural interaction, the foundations were laid for a timeless stylistic identity which to this day never ceases to amaze even the most demanding customers. Mastery of technique and collaboration with the best Venetian glass masters have seen to it that every product that comes out of the Venini furnace is a quintessential example of Italian Quality: an excellence standing out for its style and elegance all over the world. Among the superb quality products of the exclusive Emporio Treccani showcase, the Monofiore Vase takes its bow, part of the Monofiore Collection, in hand-blown and handcrafted glass, using the complex balloton technique. This particular process, obtained thanks to the use of a particular metal mould enriched with pyramidal shapes, leads to the creation of a beautiful optical effect. The version in amber, enriched by a horizon line thread, is the perfect choice for a furnishing artefact with an inimitable character.
