    Design Stefano Boeri Architetti

Archetipo is a set of pens designed exclusively for Bottega Treccani by Stefano Boeri, one of Italy’s leading architects. In order to pay tribute to Dante Alighieri on the 700th anniversary of his death, the architect has designed three pens inspired by one of the archetypes of architecture, i.e. the column, which now symbolises the figure of Dante and what this Great Poet is known for all over the world.
The set consists of three pens made of high-quality materials: a fountain pen in ebony and gold, a ballpoint pen in stainless steel and galvanised brass with gold plating, and a rollerball pen in white Corian with galvanised brass hardware and gold plating. These three variations encourage us to play with the textural and sensory associations that Dante’s three-part Divine Comedy evokes.
