The miniature 50 lire emblem set in the cusp of the cap is made of gold by the State Mint.
L.50 Dio Vulcano Pen with nib made of iridium and 18k gold with rhodium finish. The cap and barrel in celluloid with solid bar turned blue resin are decorated with two rings in 18k gold that evoke the coin’s shell ring. The cap is set in a reduced form of the original side of the 50 lire from 1989, with the image of the god Vulcan, minted in 18k gold by the Mint of the State. Sculptural clasp.
