Description
This collection of writings and speeches addressed to the country, institutions and students of Italian universities offers an Italian economy of the last ten years. From taking office as president of the European Central Bank up to the speech on the war in Ukraine, the profound awareness of the evils that afflict our country but also the confidence in its potential for redemption and growth emerge in these pages.
Civil servant guided by a strong sense of institutions and by a firm reference to political and intellectual figures of our history (from Cavour to Caffè, from Monnet to De Gasperi), Draghi is above all animated by a sincerely pro-European vocation, aware of the complexity of the relationship between the Brussels institutions and the national realities, but also confident in the strength and solidity of the continental political project, as summarized by the now famous whatever it takes.
