À l'aube is one of the exquisite artefact creations of the Alma Charta atelier in Fontanellato, in the province of Parma, where it is possible to view over five hundred prestigious published editions and participate in drawing and graphics courses. One of the precious creations exhibited in the Treccani Emporium window is this artist's book, created jointly by the poet Camille Belguise and the engraver André Beuchat, the founder of the Alma Charta enterprise. Finely honed poetic fragments composed with Helvetica movable type intertwine with copper etchings hand-printed on a star wheel press, composing a single creation that evokes the ideal link between man and nature, far from the frenetic rhythms of urban life and its insistent clamour. Composed of ten hand-sewn pages, the book is presented inside a coloured cardboard box in a unique edition of thirty numbered copies signed by André Beuchat plus four copies on Hahnemūhle paper.
