For the Les Heures Contées collection, the Alma Charta atelier presents a small artist's book titled Miroirs, in which words chosen from Feuillets, a text by Gustave Roud, accompany the outstanding illustrations etched on copper by the master engraver André Beuchat, owner of the workshop Alma Charta near Parma, who for years has made passion for paper and ink his mission. This publication, in the highly original format of 200 by 85 millimetres, occupying 8 pages, was created using the Helvetica movable type composition, which makes Roud's elegant words even more pleasurable. Available in fifty numbered copies and five further out of commerce copies, Miroirs offers an example of rare refinement to be explored, which is why it is part of the selection proposed by Treccani among the gems in its Emporium showcase.
