In November 2018 Marinella Senatore invited three members of the Pussy Riot collective, known for its public actions, to Cape Town. During an evening at an underground club, Senatore immortalizes the activists as they dance on stage wearing their iconic coloured balaclavas. A purple-red velvet curtain, the same characteristic colour as the curtain at La Scala in Milan, partially obscures the scene, inviting us to look beyond.
