Giglio

Giglio is an essential accessory for a style-orientated desk. Designed by Enzo Mari for the Danese company in Milan – responsible for many high points in the history of Italian design, and also conquering immense esteem at international level – Giglio continued the experimental creativity of the Italian design maestro, who had already designed two paper knives, Benbecula and Ameland. Made with a polished spring steel design, the new desk accessory continued his research on basic cutting and bending operations, creating an object with a shaped profile, eliminating any sharp edges. The soft lines of the steel ribbon, folding over itself to form a handle, make this precious object a fundamental and functional element to enhance a work table, combining style and elegance with extreme ease of use... thus making it similar to a traditional letter opener.
