Edited by: Massimo Osanna, General Director of the State Museums at the Ministry of Culture and full professor of Classical Archaeology at the University of Naples Federico II, and Jacopo Tabolli, scientific coordinator and professor at the University for Foreigners of Siena.

This book serves as the catalogue for the exhibition ‘I Bronzi di San Casciano’ (The Bronze Statues of San Casciano), which will be hosted from June to October 2023 at the Quirinal Palace in Rome. Approximately 100 artefacts from excavations at San Casciano dei Bagni will be on display at the exhibition.
The book comprises 34 fact sheets written by archaeologists who provide detailed information about these archaeological finds, which are also classified and supported by a comprehensive series of photos. The catalogue starts with four introductory essays that explain and analyse, from a cultural and historical perspective, the past and present of the Bronzi di San Casciano as well as the exhibition tour.
