The quarterly magazine «Enciclopedia Italiana» is a publishing project through which Treccani invites readers to reflect upon and investigate the world of art and culture. The magazine reflects the natural vocation of the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia, combining authoritative contributions with the precious quality of its iconographic content. Each issue presents various Treccani products but also examines the Italian and international cultural panorama through in-depth studies of different kinds, set in thematic sections dedicated to art, literature and the safeguarding of the Italian language, along with humanistic and scientific culture, and photography. The mission of this magazine is to serve as a tool with which to interpret and investigate the cultural reality in which we live, driven by our conviction concerning the central role that books and magazines can play in a country's cultural and civil growth. As the title of the magazine suggests, encyclopaedic knowledge is available to anyone and ought to equip everyone with the tools necessary to orient themselves, studying and receiving information in a rigorous and thorough manner.
