Basic is a memory game designed by Ebe Babini for the Officina Typo, an Italian printing company among the excellences selected by Treccani thanks to its choice of fine materials and its focus on the use of traditional typographic techniques.
The boxed game consists of fifty cards and playing is simple and intuitive. Each figure is built starting from a geometric element – the triangle, the square or the circle – in one of the three primary colours – yellow, red or blue. The original choice of design, and the printing process with a manual press, provide a clear and brilliant print quality, enriching this educational game created in a limited edition on Sumo Favini paper of 700 grammes.
