Salviati extra-large Sassi vase in caramel colouring
Since 1859, the Salviati company has been a protagonist of the evolution of contemporary design, thanks to its continual proposal of new creations combining the Venetian tradition of Murano glass-working with the ability to explore new expressive possibilities. The Sassi series of vases was designed by Luciano Gaspari, hand-made by blowing hand-shaped glass, starting from a half-coloured body on which coloured bands are then applied in relief. The transparency of the raw material combines with the intensity of the colour used in the bands, in a perfect balance of light and dark that exerts a timeless aesthetic power. Since the first edition presented in 1962, Sassi has been available in a extra-large version in a superb caramel colour.
