Alma Charta, Solo la verità è l’attesa, an artist’s booklet by André Beuchat and Anna Buoninsegni Sartori
Presented in the Libretti del Mattino publishing series, Sola verità è l’attesa is an artist's booklet created by the Alma Charta printing studio. In it, the delicate words of the poetess Anna Buoninsegni Sartori intertwine with the etching engravings of André Beuchat, hand printed by a star wheel press. The poetic content, printed through a composition in Bodoni movable type, introduces the reader to an intimate dialogue with someone who is no longer there, and the speaker’s desire to embrace the beginning of a new love. The ten pages sewn by hand and protected by a cover in laid paper with the calligraphic intervention of Beuchat himself, are embellished by the presence of a central page engraved on copper. Produced in a single edition of fifty copies on Hahnemühle paper, Sola verità è l’attesa is one of the many extraordinary creations by Alma Charta, which for many years has been dedicated to the world of ink and typography.
