Tango, work realized ad hoc for the project Alfabeto Treccani, is the attempt to preserve a moment of intimancy, through the representation of two toothbrushes twisted in a glass. Ornaghi and Prestinari’s practice constantly reflects on duality and encounter: “We strive to think about things as united, so as not to deprive them of their complexity: in order to make elements coexist rather than separate them. We try to achieve cohabitation and balance, to join together apparently distant worlds, to preserve polysemy”.
