Description
The Volée table lamp, a state-of-the-art creation designed by Odo Fioravanti in 2016, is the brainchild of FontanaArte, the historic Italian glass working company founded in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti. With its simple and minimalist lines, this direct light luminaire is made entirely of painted aluminium. Thanks to a touch sensor, a simple wave of the hand under the head of this lamp activates an electronic device that turns the lamp on and off without even touching it. A harmonious combination of formal research and technological innovation, the Volée lamp turns off automatically after it has been on for five hours thanks to the Time Out system, which appeals even to environmentally- conscious customers.
