Collezione Battuti.
Masterfully crafted by the well-known Faenza-based Gatti factory, a leading ceramic manufacturer in Italy, the Burgundy Vase is a valuable object selected from the Battuti Collection, designed by Andrea Anastasio. It is one of the products of excellence offered by the company established by Riccardo Gatti in 1928, which has been known ever since for constantly researching innovative techniques and languages and for manufacturing unique products. A number of products from the early 1950s were chosen for the Treccani Emporium, including this airbrushed, slip-painted majolica vase. The textured surface of the terracotta is enhanced by the use of a powder-like matt glaze, which makes the burgundy shade look even brighter, for a one-of-a-kind result that stands out for its character and sophistication.
