From the creative mind of Ettore Sottsass and the mastery of the ceramic maestros of the Manifattura Bitossi, starting from the 1950s, a series of furnishing accessories with an irresistible appeal and timeless character was born. This Vase is no exception, as Sottsass returns to his attraction to the steps motif and two-tone glazing compositions.
In this version, larger and more capacious than the one made in opaque white and green, Sottsass reuses the traditional hand lathe process in white clay, this time worked in white and opaque sky blue. The final product is a unique object, destined to leave its mark thanks to its contemporary design shapes linked to the oldest ceramic tradition of the Tuscan company which created it.
